Seacon Square shopping and entertainment complex opened to public in September 1994 which was graciously presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

The construction of the half-a-million-square-meter total area and half-a-kilometer-long building on a 30-acrea land began in 1991 through a 200 million US dollar undertaking of the Sosothikul family and their business partners.

Seacon Square is located on the Srinakarin road, the main thoroughfare of Bangkok East. With the new airport only 14 km. Away population growth is expected to continue as more communities come in the area.

The center, having a total leasable area of 180,000 square meters, is landlord to 15 major tenants and more than 400 specialty shops. Approximate more than 2 millions. visitors patronize the center monthly. Seacon Square is a 7-level building with carpark in 5 levels B2, B1, outdoor on ground, L5 and rooftop.
